My brother is back from Japan! Wes spent four weeks overseas on a school trip to apply what he's learned in Japanese and to learn whatever he could. He spent two weeks in Okinawa in a homestay and went to school with his host student at their school, which is a sister school to Wesley's high school. It's cool, because every year in February/March a group of kids from Okinawa come over to our high school and do a homestay. We've hosted a student for the past three years, and Wes stayed with the student we hosted last year, Masachika. Really cool kid. Anyway, after those two weeks the students went over to the mainland and toured different cities and such.
I missed Wes. He's my buddy! So I'm really glad he's home, safe and sound.
Plus now he'll be here to shuck corn with me when need be.
