Hands

It's one of those questions... you know, questions that are interesting to ponder for the first two mintues, but in reality don't matter at all...

"Have you ever really looked at your hands?"

Meaningless, right?

... But have you? Have you truly thought about how amazing our hands are? In all that they can do? I'm not just talking about how fascinating our opposable thumbs are, people. I'm talking about the whole darn thing.

They can touch.
They can feel.
They can crush.
They can hold.
They can squeeze.
They can bend.
They can make.
They can hurt.
They can break.

We can do horrid things with our hands.
But we can also do amazing things with our hands.

I've always said to myself, "If I can find a job where I simply do things with my hands all day and help people in the process, I'll be good to go."

I wonder if one day I'll be able to sit down to write in this blog and say that I've found that very job.
