Raccoons

I picked up sticks.
I mowed the lawn.
I pulled weeds.

I didn't quite get to working on "the project" - but I'm not worried about it.

No matter.
All said and done, the crowning accomplishment of today was taking pictures of three baby raccoons.
!
Adorable.

I think I may have scared them a bit, but they brought it upon themselves! They were out in plain daylight, waddling along our driveway. I was kneeling, pulling weeds, when I saw movement out of the corner of my eye. I looked over and there they were, walking towards me. I was so surprised, I stood up. They froze, then slowly backed up. I went inside to grab my mom's camera, since hers was the quickest grab, and they were still there, starting to make their way up a set of stairs. Then they made their way over to a tree and started to climb up. I didn't get too close (I put the zoom feature on the camera to a definite use), but they were captured in time forever as they inched their way upwards, looking down at me in seemingly morose... suprise. Kodak moment, for sure.
