This week has been really nice. My mom has been in Des Moines (well, Ankeny) to help out my sister and her husband with Jack, and Wes has been in Japan, so dad and I were home alone for the week. I've immensely enjoyed spending the time with my dad, because he and I don't usually do so. It was a nice change, if you will. We're spending the weekend in Des Moines. I was happy to see my mom, not going to lie. And I'm spending a few extra days here but my dad is going back to Cedar Rapids. Poor guy will be allllll alone. He can handle it, though.
